Musulmani e Sikh si uniscono presso il Gobind Sadan Institute, uno predica all’altro, uno che prega vicino all’altro, si mangia insieme…

Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated by thousands in Gobind Sadan’s Nur-ih-Illahi Mosque on 7 July, 2016. Sikhs and Hindus joined their Muslim brothers in celebrating the end of Ramadan. Earlier, the sangat had gathered late every evening to listen to reading of the entire Holy Qur’an by a visiting hafiz. For Eid, Gurdev Singh, member of Baba Virsa Singh Ji Maharaj Memorial Trust, congratulated the sangat on behalf of Gobind Sadan since the Holy Qur’an began to be revealed during this month. He said, “The whole month is blessed because in our dedication to God, we are staying thirsty and hungry out of love, not out of pressure. That is why He blesses us. We do it knowing that He is seeing us. This is a training for our mind: how to go on the path of God without lust, without lying, without any vices. We do this for one month so that we can follow this teaching throughout the year. We all pray to God to give us strength so that we can follow God’s teachings for the whole year.”

Gobind Sadan’s imam Jabar Ali said, “Those people who are doing violence in the name of Islam have no connection with Islam, and they are causing a lot of problems for Muslims. True followers of every religion—be it Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Islam, etc.—will never spread hatred. We are sending love to everyone from Gobind Sadan.”
